BSA Troop 158 Hackettstown-NJ

Central NJ Council Pahaquara District

                           Who We Are:

We are The Hackettstown Boy Scout Troop 158 located in Hackettstown, NJ and we were established June 1st 1960. We meet Monday evenings  7 PM, except holidays and welcome any boy from 6th grade thru high school. at the First Presbyterian Church Annex, (Living Waters Church) located at 298 Main St. Hackettstown, NJ

We are active twelve months out of the year with camping, fund raising, service projects, community events and district events.

We love camping every month of the year and working for our community!

Our way of fun is spending time on a cope course, shooting a rifle or shotgun, marching in a local parade, swimming, hiking, biking, outdoor cooking and just relaxing by the camp fire.

Our troop is known to produce the best Eagle Scouts that walk the lands. Every year we all pitch in to help the next Eagle on his project.

Every year we all go to one of the outstanding Boy Scout Camps for a week at summer camp.

 Our Mission:

Is for the Boy Scouts of America to prepare us to make ethical choices over our lifetimes by instilling in us, the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

 Scout Oath

On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country

To keep myself physically strong,
